ABOUT ME

I grew up in Colombia speaking Spanish and savoring the Latin-American culture. I discovered my love for teaching while I was still a high school student and decided to pursue a Bachelor in Education. After graduation I worked as a high school educator.

I have called Canada my home for the last 20 years. I learned English in Canada so I know firsthand what it takes to learn a second language. I graduated with a MSc (Simon Fraser University, BC).

I enjoy teaching as much as I enjoy learning so I am learning Portuguese right now and I must say that I take a lot from my learning experiences to enrich my teaching methodologies.

I have been helping students to succeed in the IB test for more than five years. I invite you to read some of the testimonies from my students.

How It Works

Each course is one month which focuses on one of the five IB themes with practical exercises on writing, reading, speaking and listening while at the same time reviewing the basics of grammar needed to succeed in the IB test.

Classes are taught in English.
